Something happened to me in the last week that I can only describe as traumatic. I've tried minimizing it a number of different ways, but it is what it is. It was a traumatic experience for me. It's okay to be honest, things aren't always okay. I’ve learned more in the last week through this experience than I will ever be able to express, lessons that betray human reason or logic but lessons of the heart. It was something that shook. I’m still experiencing the tremors in my soul… As it shook me at the core of my being. I’ve filled about half of a written journal since then and today had more revelations. I'm finding something profound shifted. A shift seen and known by My Lord. I can share facts of the experience with others, but the extent of how it affected me are matters of the heart that must be carefully disclosed. He has been holding me close. Met in a way others will never be able to. For he alone sees and knows the depths of my heart. He sees and understands the most subtle to the most earth-shattering tremors of my soul, a place where no one else can follow but my Maker. As no part of my soul is immune from His touch...
God is still speaking.
God is still good.
He is beautiful.
He is true.
I'm astounded by the graciousness of my Father.
His light will shine will all else fades.
While I was driving home, I caught this song, one of my favorites on the radio, but it was like I was hearing it for the first time. These words resonated so deeply with me and what was going on.
"EVERLASTING ... Your light will shine when all else fades, NEVER-ENDING ... Your glory goes beyond all things...”
He has captured me once again. With His love.
