“To be alive is to be broken and to be broken is to stand in the need of grace.”
In the same breath we despise our brokenness we rejoice. For in that recognition of our need for God, we find grace. We find a love that alone constitutes our worth. We find a God who created within us a desire to know and be known; to love and be loved. One who teaches us our greatest lessons in the context of relationship and reveals more of Himself to us through His image bearers all around us.
Image bearers who reflect the Father’s heart, who are broken, redeemed, alive and beautiful. Unashamedly in need of grace. For grace alone has saved us.
A celebration of a God who triumphs over all. A God who is worthy to be praised. One who freely gives, freely loves and gives us the capacity to love.
It is in the context of relationship, whether it is between friends, siblings, lovers, or our relationship with God, that all that is most real is brought to the surface. Where we come to know and experience more of the fullness of life. Where we experience transcendence, a reminder that there is so much more.
It’s been an amazing two months! God continues to teach more each day about Him through being in this relationship with Ben. It is such a gift to have spent the last two months dating, one we do not take for granted.
We are simply two broken, yet redeemed people. Trying to follow Christ each day, desiring to know him more and to love him more.
Desiring to live full lives that bring glory to their King.
May you always dance in fields of grace.
